Peace Center Shares Earth Care and Peacebuilding Skills during Church Peace Camp

Peace Center executive director Nichole McVeigh shared four sessions of peace and Earth Care skills with three different age groups at the July 28-31 summer Peace Camp sponsored by First Mennonite Church of Richmond, St. Paul’s Episcopal and West Richmond Church of the Brethren.  More than 30 children heading into grades K-6 attended the Peace Camp.

Themes for the sessions included:

  • We create peace

  • We tend the Earth

  • We are like seeds

  • We are like trees
