2026 Member Dinner Asks Gathered to Reflect on "Active Peace"

On April 30, close to 40 Peace Center members gathered at First Unitarian Universalist to hear updates on the past year and to hear keynote speaker Rev. Anna Tolou, Assistant Minister of First UU of Richmond, reflect on her journey to becoming a pacifist and her challenge to the audience to help each other understand what “peace” is and how to take action to build an “Active Peace”.

In addition to good food and conversation, board members shared key elements of their 3 year strategic plan. The gathering also paused to remember long-time members who passed away in the last year.
