2025 Member Dinner Gathers 30

On April 11, thirty Peace Center members gathered at First Unitarian Universalist to hear updates on the past year and to participate in a conversation with authors Thad Williamson (Peace Center Board member) and Amy Howard, who along with co-author Julian Hayter, recently published a new book -The Making of Twenty-First-Century Richmond: Politics, Policy, and Governance, 1988-2016.

In addition to good food and conversation, the Peace Center also thanked outgoing board chair Darian Wyatt, celebrating her leadership through a period where the Peace Center reactivated efforts after a period of dormancy during the COVID pandemic.

The evening also included a video greeting from the Peace Center’s new half-time executive director Nichole McVeigh.
