Good Trouble Lives On: July 17th on Monument Ave.

  • Robinson and Monument Richmond, VA (map)

RPEC Friends, please join the  Richmond Peace Education Center for a national day of action in remembrance of Congressman John Lewis, a man who showed us the power of collective action.

Friends are asked to gather on Monument Avenue between Robinson and Mulberry from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 17. We will form one block of a three mile human chain in support of civil rights/human rights.

Please let us know if you can come. If unable to come, you may still contribute by donating water and/or medi-kits. Use this link:

Help us show up for justice, community, and peace as we represent Richmond Peace Education Center at this powerful citywide event.  Bring your lawn chair, water, and snacks. Let's have some fun while we make good trouble!

Let’s show up as educators, peacebuilders, and warm community hosts.
