Nonprofit Bookkeeper Volunteer Position

We’re looking for a skilled volunteer for a bookkeeping position that is essential to the work and functioning of all of the Peace Center’s activities.

Peace Center Volunteer Position Available

Summary of Job Description:

Under the direction of the Administrative Director, this individual performs bookkeeping and accounting duties including financial record keeping, accounts payable, and general ledger; monthly reconciliation and income-expense reports. Proficiency in Quickbooks and strong attention to detail are important.

Hours: Approx. 6-8 hours per week; specific office hours can be set according to your schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Quickbooks a must
  • Nonprofit experience a plus
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals
  • Support of Peace Center’s work and mission.

Works closely with the administrative coordinator, office volunteers, and board Treasurer.
