John McCutcheon to Perform April 21

John McCutcheon, the internationally acclaimed folk musician–and Peace Center champion –will be back in Richmond on Friday, April 21, 2017.

This year he’ll perform at the popular west-end folk/blues venue Tijohn-mccutcheon-image-album-covern Pan, 8982 Quioccasin Road, near Regency Mall. Tin Pan provides a more celebratory setting for John’s performance, as they offer food and adult beverages. They are generously donating profits from ticket sales to the Peace Center!

John McCutcheon has supported the Peace Center with his music for many years. For those who don’t know him, McCutcheon is a wonderful storyteller and master of many instruments, including guitar, banjo, piano, and hammered dulcimer.

McCutcheon is a multiple Grammy nominee known for his amazing live performances. His most recent CD, Trolling for Dreams, has just been released. He has recorded almost 40 albums including 22 Days (2013) This Land: Woody Guthrie’s America (2011), Passage (2010), and Untold (2009). He is also the author of numerous children’s books and essays.
