As many of you know, RPEC’S biggest fundraiser, our annual Dinner & Auction, is rapidly approaching. On Saturday, November 5th, RPEC’s community of supporters will gather for an evening fun and camaraderie. Not to mention, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on some amazing items donated by RPEC supporters!
Nearly all the money spent during the auction will be channeled back to RPEC’s programming. How often do you get the chance to treat yourself and/or your loved ones to walking tours, massages, vacation getaways, art, coffee conversations with famous Richmonders, gardening lessons, and much more, and know that the money you are spending is going to help build more peaceful, just, and inclusive communities?
The auction, and the funds raised at the event, play an critical role in sustaining RPEC year after year.
But the auction’s success depends on donations from folks like you!
In recent years, donated “vacation getaways” have consistently brought in the most funds at the auction. This year, our pool of donated vacation homes has dwindled, and we are seeking new “getaway” donations from our members.
If you have a vacation home, or know a friend or family member with a vacation home who might be interested in donating to the auction, please contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible! RPEC is a 501(c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible. Your auction donation will allow us to continue and strengthen our work for nonviolence and it will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your support for the Peace Center’s mission.
