Donate to our annual auction. RPEC's major fundraising event always needs auction items. Donating an item is a great way to advertise your business.
Items that offer our members' personal talents (art, photography, cooking, building, writing, etc.) are often very popular at the auction. So are items from other countries and cultures. And vacation getaways--such as a week or even a weekend at a vacation home in the mountains or at the beach are our biggest sellers of all.
Remember RPEC in your Estate Planning. RPEC offers gift annuities through a socially responsible investment fund. These provide donors with a regular yearly income in addition to a substantial tax deduction in the year the gift is given. Some RPEC members have also included the Peace Center as a beneficiary in their wills. Contact us at 232-1002 to discuss these programs.
Send us your Ukrop's Golden Gift receipt. Your Ukrop's card can earn dollars to support Peace Center programs when you shop. Simply mail us the Golden Gift receipt you get in the the Ukrop's mailing (Usually around the beginning of May).
Privacy Statement
RPEC collects the following information from our donors: name, mailing address, phone number, and, when available, email address. We record this information, together with the donor's giving history and history of participation with the center, in a computer in our office.
The computer is protected by a user password and the office is locked when it is not staffed. We back up these records periodically and keep the data stored in a locked file cabinet.
Donors may review or make changes to their information by contacting the office at (804) 232-1002 or rpec@rpec.org.
RPEC publishes the names of the individuals and organizations who donate to the center in our annual financial report, which is printed each spring. Donors who prefer not to be listed in this published report should contact the RPEC office at 232-1002 or rpec@rpec.org by February 1 of each calendar year. We do not share our donor list, or any portion of it, with any other organization.
