Auditions open for Generation Dream 2018

The Richmond Youth Peace Project is now putting together Generation Dream 2018, our annual performing arts tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Once again we’re looking for talented young performers—singers, musicians, dancers, actors and spoken word poets—who would like to be part of the show.  All performances should in some way reflect Dr. King’s message of peace, nonviolence and social justice.  Individual acts should be limited to no more than five minutes.

We’re auditioning new performers, so, If you know of someone who may want to participate, please have them get in touch with us as soon as possible, at rypp@rpec.org

We’re planning two shows this year:  One will be held at the Richmond Public Library on Friday evening, February 2.

Our second performance is scheduled for the Grace Street Theater on Sunday afternoon, February 11.

Performers who have participated previously do not need to audition, but we would need to know what you’re planning to perform, and preview your performance when you’re ready.

Please let us know if you would like to be a part of this year’s show.

You can find video from past shows on the Peace Center’s YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/RichmondPeace
