Almost There! Just 8 More Kroger Enrollees Needed!

The Peace Center set a goal of enrolling 100 supporters in our Kroger Community Rewards program by the end of 2016. And we’re almost there!

Thanks to our wonderful supporters:

  • 92 households are now enrolled in the Rewards program.
  • RPEC received over $2,500 in the last 4 quarters from Kroger.

We need just 8 more people to enroll to meet our goal of 100 enrollees in 2016!  kroger

Can you help?

If we reach our goal of 100 Rewards enrollees, the Peace Center could receive as much as $4,000 in 2017. (That would cover the cost of a weekend-long training for 25 youth and part of the cost of our Youth Peace Summit for 140 teenagers.)

Once you enroll, you’ll help RPEC earn money just by shopping at Kroger. It costs you nothing.

How to Find Out If You are Already Enrolled

Kroger requires recipients to re-enroll annually. If you enrolled at one time, but are not sure if you are currently enrolled, please check your Kroger Community Rewards account now and Sign In with your email and password to make sure that your account is still active.

After you sign in, click on “View Your Rewards Details.”sample-com-rewards-screenshot-qtr-ending-113016

It will take you to screen like this:

(Please note that the “Last Quarter Kroger Donation” shows how much your Kroger purchases earned for RPEC through the quarter ending 11/30/2016. Multiply that figure by 4, and you have a pretty good idea how much money RPEC will receive annually as a result of YOUR Kroger purchases. )

If there is no data in the Community Rewards screen, click on “Re-Enroll Now.” Type in Richmond Peace Education Center or Organization # 94179 in the drop-down list of non-profits.

How To Enroll if You Have Never Enrolled

To enroll for the first time, have your Kroger Plus Card handy. Make sure it’s the same card you use when you shop. You can alternatively use your phone number (or “Alternate ID”), if you use your phone number, instead of swiping your card at check-out.

Go to www.kroger.com/communityrewards. Click “Create an Account” or “Sign In” if you already have an online account.

Select the Richmond Peace Education Center (nonprofit # 94179) on the drop-down list of nonprofits.

Finally, please encourage all members of your household to use your Kroger Plus Card (or your “Alternate ID” or preferred phone #) when they shop at Kroger. And if other household members have their own Kroger Plus Cards, we appreciate your asking them to create their own Kroger online accounts and to designate RPEC as their Community Rewards recipient.

Thank you for taking the time to enroll or re-enroll in Kroger Community Rewards at www.kroger.com/communityrewards and to help us reach our goal of 100 participants in 2016!

P.S. If you have any difficulty, the Kroger folks at 1-800-576-4377 can help or even sign you up over the phone. Camille Harris, our volunteer Kroger Community Rewards Coordinator, can also assist. You can contact Camille at camille@lamountaincoaching.com or (804) 339-0806.

Camille would also greatly appreciate your sending her a quick email to let her know that you’ve enrolled so that she can send you a reminder at annual re-enrollment time.
